The 2019 Le Prieuré is fabulous. Rich and expansive on the palate, with striking depth, the 2019 is a real standout. Black cherry, plum, chocolate, licorice and espresso infuse the 2019 with layers of flavor that unfold with time in the glass. This is an especially sumptuous style, especially for Le Prieuré, which in the recent past has been a more restrained wine. Even so, all the elements are nicely balanced here.
